… having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead. (Col. 2:22, ESV) Baptism is one of the most profound and visible ways we identify as followers of Jesus Christ! Going under the water symbolizes our death to sin, and coming up out of the water symbolizes our resurrection with Christ!
Here at CSC we believe that the ordinances of the New Testament church are communion (the Lord’s Supper) and water baptism for believers by immersion as a public act of confession of faith.
