Culturally women in Sierra Leone are considered to have no worth, value or dignity. 5 years ago Pastor Warren Fornah and his wife, Adama, started the school with the goal of restoring hope, dignity and worth to these women and to help them find their identity in Christ.
The students learn life skills including tailoring, hairdressing, catering, adult literacy and more. Many of the students are orphans or single parents. It costs about $100 a month per student. There are currently 60 students and many more on the waiting list.
Thank you for partnering with us. Your generosity will go toward student scholarships and building a permanent school.
WAYS TO GIVE
Check or Cash | Online @ coldspringschurch.net | text "christmas" to 84321
Our goal here at Cold Springs Church is transparency. We operate solely on the generosity of those who call Cold Springs home and give regularly to support the mission and vision we are committed to carrying out. God invites us to worship Him in all areas of our lives, including the way we spend our money. Because it is an act of worship, God is more interested in the shape of our heart than the size of our gift.
IT BROADENS AND EXPANDS
Expanding our ministry enables us to do more things that serve people and advance God’s kingdom in this city, this county and in our World.
IT'S AN ACT OF WORSHIP
John considers his financial supporters ‘fellow workers’ with him (3 John 1:5–8); even though they do not do the ministry physically, their funds have made it possible, making them a part of his work.
IT DEEPENS OUR PASSION
We put our money where our priority lies, and then our heart follows where our money goes.
